My journey to women’s healthcare started at a young age. As a teenager I realized I was meant to become a midwife. At that time, I was on my path to becoming a nurse and graduated in 2010. I worked as a labor and delivery RN for almost 8 years. In that 8 years I also became a Certified Professional Midwife, serving birthing families in the birth center and home birth setting. In 2018 I became a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner – shifting my focus to hospital practice.  Since then I’ve served women and their families during pregnancy, labor, birth, postpartum and for a wide variety of gynecological needs.

Now, as a mother of a toddler, I’ve decided to step away from labor and birth care, providing pregnancy, postpartum, and gynecological care in the office setting. My philosophy of care is patient centered, guided by many years of expertise. I look forward to meeting you and finding the ways in which I can help assist you in achieving your healthcare goals.

When I’m not working I enjoy playing in nature with my family – hiking, skiing, and gardening.

“After achieving my BSN at the University of Nevada Reno, I have enjoyed working as a labor and delivery nurse since 2013.  My passion to further help our community with their healthcare needs guided my decision to return to school and obtain my master’s in nursing as a nurse practitioner in 2021. I am grateful to have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the health of women in our community and to be working with a group of excellent providers.
When not at work, my husband Keith and I enjoy raising our three beautiful daughters. We spend our time with our family and friends camping, boating, working out, attending our daughters’ sports events/activities, and raising 4H market animals.”

“I spent 7 years working as a labor and delivery nurse where I developed a love and appreciation for women’s health. I’ve always felt that this specialty of nursing was my calling and I truly enjoy helping and empowering women. In my free time, I enjoy traveling to new places, trying new recipes, and spending time with my wonderful husband and spunky daughter.

I am so excited to join a practice that takes pride in the high-quality care they provide their patients. I look forward to meeting you!”
