Pelvic Prolapse Management

We evaluate and treat pelvic prolapse which is weakening of the support structures for the female reproductive organs.  Some common problems we manage include uterine prolapse (dropping of the uterus), cystocele (dropping of the vaginal tissue supporting the bladder) rectocele (dropping of the vaginal tissue supporting the rectum) and urinary incontinence.

Our non-surgical treatment options include pelvic floor exercises, vaginal hormone therapy, or pessary fitting.  Our surgical options include hysterectomy, anterior and posterior vaginal repair, vaginal vault suspension and bladder neck sling (TOT).
