Jennifer Ziock-Price

M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

I grew up and went to college in Northern California. After moving around for medical school in East Tennessee, residency training in Houston, and working in Pittsburgh for several years, I am happy to have settled in Reno! My spouse and 3 children have integrated into the community here and keep me busy when I am not at work, along with our dogs and cats. I love to read and stay active through the local masters swim team.
I am excited to take care of the women of Northern Nevada with a group of physicians dedicated to providing individualized, evidence based care for every one of our patients.

It is a pleasure to join family in Nevada and start practicing in Reno. I am originally from here and have been away for many years. I’m glad to be back in the sunshine and mountains. In my free time, I like to get outside to run, ski, hike and bike. I’m looking forward to meeting and helping you with all of your women’s health needs.

After living and practicing in both New Orleans and Arizona, I am happy to have found Reno for my forever home. I have lived in Reno since 2009 but have only been with OB/GYN Associates since 2018. I am excited and grateful to have been able to join a practice with physicians who enjoy practicing OB/GYN as much as I do.

When not at work I like to swim, bike and run and have completed three Ironman distance triathlons. I also enjoy exploring our beautiful community with my two rescue dogs.

The most common question I get from my patients is, “Why did you choose this specialty?”
I truly love my career for a number of reasons. Primarily, I get the opportunity to have an impact on women’s lives. I love that in a typical day, I can start with performing a hysterectomy on a menopausal woman to stop bleeding, counsel a college student at her first annual exam about birth control, and deliver a beautiful baby. It is amazing and I feel such gratitude towards my patients for trusting me with their care.
My goal at each visit with a patient is to be sure she has been heard, make her feel comfortable, and to understand more about her as a person than just the medical facts.

Sherrie Hald

M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

I have lived in Reno for most of my life and have raised my two children here. I feel privileged to care for the women of my hometown. I previously enjoyed 10 years of practicing obstetrics and delivering babies. Currently, I only practice gynecology which allows for the opportunity to spend more time with my patients discussing a variety of women’s health issues including adolescence, sexual health, contraception, menstrual problems, surgical issues, hormonal management and menopause. I believe my life experiences and my psychology background give me a unique perspective as I consider the mind-body effect while caring for women through all stages of their reproductive life. I enjoy listening and individualizing care for each of my patients. Education as well as managing health problems is a key part of my care.
I enjoy an active lifestyle including hiking, paddle-boarding, skiing, snow-shoeing and generally being outdoors. Time with my family and loved ones remains an important priority. I also enjoy my quiet time gardening, reading and being with my animals.
